I am interested in working on problems with people, utilising a community psychology approach. I use qualitative participative methods which embrace marginality. Key areas include migrants, disability and community psychology.

I am programme leader for the Masters course in Psychology and Disability. I also contribute to the Masters counselling programme. Undergraduate teaching mainly focuses on social psychology and third year options in community, counselling and education

I am currently the Course leader for the Joint Honours Programme in the department. This scheme allows students to study psychology with another subject, e.g. psychology and sociology.
