2009. National Institute of Health Research (Research for Patient Benefit Programme). Competition 9. Joint application between Manchester PCT, Justlife and MMU. Collaboration with Professor Judith Sixsmith (MMU).
2009. Submission to Joint University Council Social Work Education Committee (JUC SWEC) for funding to map and research and course curricula, content and teaching in post-graduate social work research methods courses in UK.
2008/10. ESRC Research Development Initiative (RDI 2) for social work. Two year national programme to develop social work researcher capacity.
2008 Developmental work with local authority ethics committees across Greater Manchester to develop protocols for social work and social care research. Ongoing work.
2007. Research Capability Funding award (MMU).
2005-7. The Implementation of a Continuing Professional Development Framework for Social Workers in Mental Health (University of Manchester)
2005-6 STEDI Project. £5.000.00 awarded to MMU by Stockport PCT. Funded action research project to evaluate funded education and training offered to mental health service users in Stockport. Project completed.
2005 Early Interventions Project. £10,000.00 awarded to MMHSCT by Manchester Joint Commissioning Executive (Mental Health). Project completed.
