Research Interests

My key research interests include uni/interprofessional simulation-based education, human factors and patient safety. I am particularly interested in error recognition and using educational strategies to improve students' understanding of error.

NHS North West Funding: Development of a Undergraduate Pan-Regional Interprofessional Simulation Based Education Patient Safety Course

This funded the development and delivery of a World Health Organization Complementary Pilot Study for the Multi-professional Patient Safety Curriculum. S Gough was the Principal Invesitgator for the WHO study. (£8499 total grant, all recieved through MMU).
