Work experience

Substantial experience in NHS Mental Health clinical service delivery, service management and organisation, community engagement and Commissioning of services.

15 years' HE teaching and Health Professions Council Masters level clinical training course delivery. Most recently experience of conducting UoL Practice Based Learning Groups for Medical Students.

Experience of Third Sector BME organisations delivering the 'Race' Equality agenda.


Completed PhD (2008) at MMU: 'Manchester migrants: a discursive and dialogical exploration of subjectivities'. Gained experience in Research funding applications as a NIHR Research Fellow at University of Liverpool.


Most recently employed as a NIHR Research Fellow at University of Liverpool to assist development of child mental health research capacity at Alder Hey Children's NHS Trust.
